Confused?


Let me explain:

A = Calories in (includes all the energy you absorb)

B = Calories out (includes all the energy to power the body such as keeping your organs working and energy for daily activities and exercise)

C = Net Calories (if this is positive, you will likely gain weight; if this is 0, you will likely remain at your weight; if this is negative, you likely lose weight)


To lose weight: Decrease A or Increase B

To gain weight: Increase B or Decrease B To stay neutral: Keep A and B the same
